Jenbe: We talk to Alex Sabbagh, musical director of arts centre Everyone’s Climbing Trees about the West African drumming – Jenbe. Alex runs drumming workshops every Friday for anyone interested. They start at 6.30pm and are drop-in so you can just turn up on the night and join in.
AP & Beyond Art and Music Trail: Sonya Sabbagh, sister to Alex, and director of Everyone’s Climbing Trees, tells us about the art trail happening in Alexandra Park on the last weekend in June. More details can be found on the AP & Beyond website.
